Yeah... I'm not doing this. Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

My only memory of ITFC for the last 15 odd years.

Not really, shows 2 things

one it's being used how it should be by people who don't wish to see my posts, rather than people knowing it's an option but choosing not to use it then moan about a post being made rather than just ignoring it if they don't want to discuss the content.

2 - Shows that there's alot of people who don't like alternative views to theirs.

Either way, I shall continue to post a mixture of positive and negative posts depending on the subject and it's upto people what they do when they come across them.

Hmm. But saying "people who don't like alternative views to theirs" suggests they're closed-minded and these alternative views have merit. Alternative views often do have merit, that's what makes them challenging. Bobbins views don't have merit though. You can't just spit out any old nonsense and then say "Well, you can't handle alternative views."

I'm not one of these who wants to silence you, but when so many disagree, 37 have you on ignore, and at least one poster stopped posting because of you, doesn't that make you think they might have a point? Otherwise you're in deluded David Ike territory.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Not really, it's an open forum to express your views on football related content. The ignore function is there as clearly used, it's up to the one who left to use it but they've chosen not to, that's on them.

I don't feel your views in this thread have merit, but they are your views and they may have to you and others who share your view, again not a problem, but it's not one that's going to make me get upset, reach for the ignore button. If I didn't want to discuss your view I'd have just moved on without responding but i've been happy to discuss it.

"I don't feel your views in this thread have merit."

Wowsers. My views are based on what's written. They've also been backed up by Phil, who wrote the story. Yours are the outlandish views which have taken what's written and extrapolated your own theories onto them. And yet mine are the ones which don't have merit?!?

I have come to the conclusion that you are utterly deluded.

No, mine is based on potentials, it's called having an open mind. I've clearly made that point along the way including the original reply to the OP starting wonder when and could it...

Moving onto the loan bits

Again you are deciding if your view has merit, to me it doesn't. That's how alternative views work. You've ignored the key takes from the news pieces to suit your argument which again is fine that's your choice, but I see them differently. Yes phil maybe shares your view, again that's ok. Other media as shown earlier see it differently. I'm not into the getting worked up during a discussion so won't respond to your delusion comment, other than to say relax, the forum would be boring and pointless if everyone had the same view. just like the world would be a strange place if everyone looked the same.

Technically you are incorrect in that statement.

One doesn’t have to have an alternative view, to know something is utter bobbins.

E.g. a popular wartime ditty talked about the number of testicles of the leader of the third Reich, and the location of one of them.

Now a person could speculate that the Albert Hall was never bombed during the Blitz, due to specific orders that the Luftwaffe were operating under, based on speculating on the truth of said ditties lyrics.

Now, I have no view on why the Blitz missed the Albert Hall, or indeed if it actually did.
I wouldn’t need to have a view, in order to know, that in the previous illustrative example, that the person was talking sh1te.

So, someone asserting that you are talking utter bobbins, may fall into one of two groupings,
A. have alternative view,
B. think you are talking bobbins.

If people in B > people A, then, …..well….the rest should be obvious.

So I do think you need to get your groupings correct.

As said previously, I'm relaxed.

No, that's not how alternative views work. That's how daft views work. I could have an 'alternative view' that the moon is made of hummus, but that view wouldn't have any merit. So it would be a daft view.

As explained earlier, other media making a story out of it is just what they do. That's not evidence there's anything in it. I can't believe you can't see that, and place them higher than Phil who actually wrote the story.

There's nothing wrong with alternative views, you're right the world would be poorer without them. But that doesn't mean all alternative views are valid and have merit. You can't just throw out any alternative view and think it has as much merit (or indeed more, as you seem to think here) just because it's alternative.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

This is the thing. I haven't said my view has more merit than yours. I've openly said I appreciate your view but I personally disagree with it. I can see why you'd have it but it's not the view I share.

We will at some point find out who was indeed right. And if you are fair play. But that's the fun of football and having an open mind into what could/couldn't be happening.

BTW. I don't think the moon is made of Hummus, but I can't prove that so my view may not have merit. ;)
