Dyers timing of leaving was rather bizarre, something clearly went on for him to walk away when he did, having other clubs youngsters involved in our first team POTENTIALLY over our own could easily have been the reason.
This is a football forum, if you don't want to discuss things ITFC just ignore posts you have no interest in discussing rather than trying to police what people do. |

Not sure if it still happens but in the past we have hosted ManU U18’s in an end of season game. It is even possible KMc was involved.
Not defending Frimley, who would want to, but Fish went out on a season long loan to Stockport County and only started one game. There may be something in what FB says but it is pure speculation and not needed.
We really don’t need threads like this.

Some people need to wake up and smell the coffee, obviously in an ideal world our team would line up with every player having come through the youth ranks, but we don't live in an ideal world.
Maybe, just maybe our youngsters aren't good enough, not ready, haven't pushed first teamers hard enough or a multitude of other reasons we don't know.
From what I've seen of the players that have had chances, can't say any of them have done enough to push for a first team spot. |
When you sign 21 senior players it's incredibly difficult for anyone to get the chance to move up the pecking order as less chance to get noticed at any point as no pathway.
But I expect that to change this year, even the business in January freed up pathways somewhat by reducing squad size.
This story of two weeks training is nothing though, we have players over all the time at all age levels - and sure they'd have probably trained with 23s as well - just a chance to keep up good relations and put our best foot forwards |  |

I think there is more than opinions being challenged here. It is clear there is a dislike of one of the posters, which as he says results in people playing the poster rather than the post. There might also be an aspect of McKenna instilling more of his methods by using players well-drilled in them. Which is no bad thing, regardless on the possibility of loans etc. Getting our players training like they're at a massive club can't hurt can it? |  |
