Sean Dyche sacked 10:33 - Apr 15 with 5460 viewstractordownsouth

According to the Athletic. I know Burnley are poor but still seems like a harsh one.

He’s done a really fantastic job for them. Maybe it was time for a parting of the ways, but I think that’s probably it for Burnley.

He was the only reason I rather hoped they stayed up. Be off with them.

Dyche has had Burnley punching well above their weight since in the Prem. Still, there is very little sentiment in modern day football. Shame!

Literally the only positive about Burnley, they have punched above their weight for a very long time because of him . With the way they were taken over, I'd suggest they are in a lot of trouble.

They’ll regret relegation more.

They should have someone lined up immediately and try and keep them up.

I am not particularly a fan of Dyche as such, but they must have very short memories. He has had them punching well above their weight for seasons. If they think they stand a chance of survival without him, that would appear naive. It’s a funny old game.

The takeover had completely passed me by I have to say. Horrible to read about now. In any shake up of football governance this predatory ownership needs to be the first thing that goes. Burnley had £40m in the bank before and now they’re being leached for money and saddled with the debt. Shocking https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/feb/02/burnley-us-takeover-has-left-cl

It's heck of a gamble to be honest. Watford have tried that and look where it's got them. I can't see them staying up now, unless there is unrest internally this will hit morale.

Just a cr@p way for Dyches time to end there bearing in mind how amazing he has been for them.

I don't see what kind of impact someone coming in with have now.

Sean Dyche has done such a good job for Burnley, it is a miracle they have survived in the PL with their budget.

He's lost his biggest asset in Chris Wood this season. All seems a bit after the horse has bolted to me.

Their run has been poor but still. Timing all wrong

It's a yes from me. Agree he's done very well there but 8 games left if they go out and get someone like Allardyce they have a chance. Looks a straight race between them and an unconvincing Everton team.

Looks like a risk free roll of the dice.

Truly impaired.

New owners, who don't want the financial penalty of relegation. The desperate performance against the Budgies was almost certainly a tipping point.
Dyche will surely walk into a job at an ambitious Championship club.

Bizarre one for them to even think of him or for someone to ask for a price.

I wonder why now - unless they got someone in during the recent international break and have been waiting on that. If they were going to knee-jerk sack him I'd have thought they'd do it straight after the Norwich match.
