EADT seemed to imply he had bought a house in Ipswich itself rather than bourgeois and entitled Woodbridge. Can anyone confirm? Nice gaff next to Christcurch Park?

Was talked about last week, believe it is Christchurch Park area, where I don't know, but has a nice choice of pubs in the vicintiy.

Curbishley has priced him out of the Woodbridge market.

Of course Robson and Ramsey used to pass each other walking dogs in Christchurch Park. Ramsey studiously ignored Robson apparently. George Burley now seen regularly walking his dog in the park. Does McKenna have a dog? Will Burley snub him?

Gee thanks...never knew I was either bourgeoise or entitled. But then again I'm not into prejudiced stereotyping.

Wasn't being entirely serious! But Ipswich gets far too much flak in my opinion...so pleasant to see a Town manager living in the Town.

"studiously ignored". What was he studying or is that a deliberate contradiction in terms?

Sorry to be a pedant, but "studiously ignored" is correct in this context since one of the meanings of "studiously" is "in a deliberate manner/with a purpose in mind".

Valley Road, Broomhill Park on Alfs' side of road, Robson on the other side of road, each with their respective hounds was also sighted a few times by a cousin of mine from over that way, as you say, no contact with each other. SBR said he knew Alf had to comment on his management of the national team in order to earn a few quid from newspapers. Robson offered 10k to help Ramsey get into a private hospital and asked to FA to match it, but Ramsey family turned it down. Sad tale really, would love to have thought of them chatting away in the park while the dogs ran around.

I've seen him out and about 3 times in Suffolk, and 2 of those occasions were in public houses. Have to say he picked nice ones to visit.

I’d taking a wild guess, but with him being only 35/36 chances are his kids won’t be more than 2-8 age range… probably moved to that area so his kids can go to the Ipswich private school, as well as being 5mins from stadium, and 10 from training ground.

What a town, love it

Better food in Woolpack, better atmosphere and beer in Greyhound.

I wouldn’t. My dad’s brother lives there and I personally find it a bit dinky do claustrophobic. The grandparents lived on the North West side of Ipswich and that is a nice part.

Never tried the food in the Woolpack but you're the second person to say that to me this week - I'll give it a try one day. The GH's food has always been good whenever I've been there too.
