He plays as both, not at the same time :) A sh1tter version of Bam Bam I guess. I mean yeh, much sh1tter. To think though, plenty of fans slated Bam Bam (as they did Scowie). How far we've fallen innit.

2 years ago today on 11:03 - Aug 17 with 1974 views | Steve_M | Yes, the plan made sense (to have a different option in games we were struggling in) but the player didn't given his lack of mobility. He still turned round Plymouth away, contributing to Nolan's excellent volley and Jackson's winner so I suppose that puts him well up the list of crap signings of the Evans era.

Yeh I don't think he's anywhere near the top sh1te signings of MEG era, tbf. More a 'whatever' ex Town player.

And BamBam had one leg shorter than the other.

Just had a quick look, Nolan hasn't started a game for Tranmere yet and was an unused sub last night, real drop off in his game.

Nolan was playing 2 years ago? Feels like he was out longer than that.

That match was December 2020, think his injury was a couple of months later. Must be frustrating for him not to be able to get going again.

For the most part he looked like a player utterly bereft of any confidence. I thought he was a half decent footballer, he was just so meek and timid. Lesser players than him have done good things at this level, you just wanted him to wake up one day and suddenly be the sort of player that would jump into a few 50:50's and call the ref a w*nker.

Prior to joining us he had been outstanding for Shrewsbury and I was very happy when we signed him up. Turned out to be as disappointing signing as Rekeem Harper last year.

Certainly more suited to the CB role.

Fans that slated Bam Bam could f. off then and can still do the same. He was a proper players' player and inspiration, the sort of bloke you love to have playing alongside you. At the back or up front, or playing through balls off his arse at Wembley.

What a goal that was! I think I was in the family enclosure in Pioneer that day, inline with that lovely passage of play. Superb.
