They’ve been really awful. Have to assume they can’t play as bad in the second half. We haven’t been great either so need to step it up. | |

What, if any, power does the ref assessor/s have after the event - can they pull the ref off future games & require refresher course; can they retrospectively issue a red card to the player?
I thought those 'scissor' type tackles were automatically deemed dangerous and a red, so all the ref can do is claim he didn't see it? |  |

Even if he couldn't see it, the linesman should definitely be telling him that it was clearly a penalty.
Everyone bottled making that decision. It's very lucky KVY wasn't hurt. |  |

Sadly if this is the standard of refereeing then something needs doing a.s.a.p. it could have resulted in a broken leg or serious injury. If in the Prem a definite pen and a red card. It should not make one iota what league teams play in with regards to the standard of refereeing I know these guys don't get paid anywhere near what the players are paid but that's no excuse. Things like this needs highlighting and again if the powers that be don't do anything about it they shouldn't be in the job either. | | | |
