Sharp rise in disorder at football games in England and Wales last season on 15:35 - Sep 22 by Radlett_blue

In the 1970s & 1980s, the core of most football crowds was working class males aged 16-35. Now, ticket prices have soared, we have all seat stadiums & football fans are wealthier and older.

And crowd disorder is significantly less common.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

Does a line of powder make people violent though? I would say alcohol is the choice of drug for those wanting to get aggressive.

The answer to your first question is of course not.

Cocaine use is just an easy excuse for idiocy. Sure the majority enjoy the buzz but have no inclination to start attacking opposition fans.

The reason for getting a line of charlie up your hooter is that you can drink to excess without the usual side effects - falling over.

But it does have the aggressive side of alcohol that fires up certain folk. Look at the mass brawls at racing

It is also more easily available now, as well

Can I just say plenty don’t actually like mixing the two.

Main attraction of coke is the confidence it gives. Always good for karaoke during a night out

That's never been my reason, and I suspect it's not most people's.

Yeah I think a few commenting here are the "Drugs are bad" types who've never done anything more than the acceptable brain-changers the government says you can have.

I’m by no means someone who’s out there pushing drugs towards people nor telling everyone to do them.. but I do think it’s a very inconsistent country as to how they’re looked at by many of the public.

Absolutely. I have a few mates who think all drugs are bad (meaning the illegal ones they wouldn't dare sample) whilst being fine with alcohol and all manner or prescription drugs, just because of their legality. The ignorance is astounding. Anyone who still lives their life strictly by what the government says is right, is bonkers in the nut. And I know the HoP is rife with coke itself.

The masses are brainwashed, lied to and cuckolded. Thing is it's not that difficult to look a bit deeper and experience things for yourself. I'm not pushing drugs either but you have one life and I wouldn't want to live all of it by what the powers that be and those with agendas say I should. Most of them are corrupt hypocrites anyway. If recent times haven't shown us that I don't know what will.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Haha, is this also something you read on Facebook?

If you genuinely think cannabis and cocaine are more dangerous than alcohol and nicotine then I respectfully suggest you do some reading and stop being fed what The Man tells you. The Man that indulges in the former and only tells you can do the latter.

The majority of people who like alcohol enjoy it and have no intention of attacking anyone either. I think the point is that alcohol and drugs both fuel the flames to anyone who is inclined to want to start trouble. Not just at football but everywhere .

Your use of words shows a lack of understanding. NO ONE is pushing drugs. Drug users approach sellers..The buyers are willing participants. It might suit Daily Mail numpties to have the idea that there are shady looking fellows hanging around school gates, which does help any understanding of the subject.

Drugs are not necessarily illegal because of the relative harm they cause. However with cannabis it is the harm they cause to the alcohol industry ie their profits.

One of the main problems is the unregulated way they are sold.

It is worth looking up Pervitin* which was sold in Germany in 1938 as a wonder drug. It is now recognised as the cause of Germany over running France in 1940. The French had calculated that the Maginot line would oblige the Germans to either go through the Ardennes or face strong opposition through Belgium. They had calculated the time it would take, not reckoning on blitzed out Germans being able to travel for 3 days without rest. It is also thought to be one of the reasons for the hold up outside Dunkirk. They and their equipment were shagged out.

The state has always had an ambivalent approach to drug usage. The British armed forces issued around 78 million amphetamine tablets in WW2.

The real question is what causes some to need this 'release', and others not to.

In fairness I’ve never seen someone chugging a few beers leave needles lying around where children could find them or break into your car for 50p and a fag end…drug users however…

Not to mention of course buying hard drugs funds murder, violence and terrorism.

Coke alone doesn't make you aggressive though. Fair enough if you're mixing it with other things, but it's not the coke per se.

I've never taken the devil's dandruff, but it was widely and openly used within the industry I previously worked in.

From my observation, coke doesn't make people aggressive. But it does amplify a person's behavioural traits.

So if you are an aggressive c**t, then you an even bigger aggressive c**t when on coke.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

I’ve lived amongst drug addicts in Housing Association, drugs cause utter misery, (potentially infected)needles lying around where kids play, theft and burglary to pay for their habits (from people that don’t have a lot to p1ss in), human faeces in communal areas, assaults etc etc.

The middle class users from the suburbs don’t give a Sh1t because it’s because it’s out of sight, out of mind.

Yep, fairy nuff. Don't hang around with c**ts is my advice. And don't give drugs or alcohol to c**ts.

Luckily I'm lovely, as you well know.

Do you think the fact that these drugs are illegal is partly responsible for that? Addicts have no idea what they're taking and have no choice or protections for where they buy their drugs.
