I remember Uhlenbeek was crazy quick ( let's forget his crossing though) so he must be up there.

This is true, I've been told the full story by Charlie Woods, who drove Kevin to a one-off 100 yard race against Malcolm McDonald as they were both touted as the quickest player in the league.
In true Beattie fashion he'd forgotten to put his jockstrap on. He was ahead after 50 yards but his meat and 2 veg started appearing so he held his shorts up and therefore lost momentum and lost the race. | | | |
