I was . I asked a question on page 3 although it might have been page 2. Darth answered it in a civil and respectful manner. I learned something from his response. The thread then degenerated into the usual crap, so I couldn’t really be arsed at that point.
Uppity. Used as a slur against black people, origin Louisiana to describe said people as becoming to self important. Widely accepted as being/ having racist overtones.

Well I did not know that until now and will no longer use that term. Although in context to UK usage it does seem like it has less direct relations to it, not that I’d die on said hill to use it.
