KVY 14:46 - Jan 19 with 3268 views | tractordownsouth | Do we reckon he’ll be shipped out now with Clarke having signed? I hope not, I think he’s looked good this season. Not sure who else will make way instead as he seems the obvious option.

KVY on 14:48 - Jan 19 with 3246 views | clive_baker | I don't particularly rate KVY, but he does offer a bit of versatility which might make him a valuable bench option as he can cover both sides.

Perhaps he will transition into a coaching role, I think that was always likely anyway but this signing might expedite that.

Always an odd one, he does look a few years past it and probably his last season before hanging his boots up. Maybe we'll offer him a coaching role, seems a decent guy and can imagine him transitioning into that role.

That would be my preference. It sounds as if Clarke is versatile enough to be an option at CB and RB.

KVY on 17:04 - Jan 19 with 2860 views | Daninthecampo | If Clarke starts, yes KVY can play both sides but you would expect Leigh to be preferred on the bench for the left, so do we have JD KVY,Fridge or Keogh for the other defensive sub?

Clarke is proper competition for JD on the right, KVY just quite looked the same since he came back from that lengthy injury, you know that because you would select JD over him every day of the week.. Many positions now are seriously doubled up, where as before we had players who could step in and do a job but you knew he wasn't a first choice.
KVY on 22:42 - Jan 19 with 2325 views | southnorfolkblue | Think he’ll leave at the end of the season. Decent enough player but I don’t think he suits KMs style of play. He clearly likes players who are comfortable moving from RB to RCB in a 3. Don’t think KVY suits that role

agree Keogh hanging up his boots seems logical - and would like to see him in a coaching role...as for KVY I genuinely like him but is he better than Leigh or Clarke...I think not so expect him to be off in the summer if not before... [Post edited 20 Jan 2023 21:06]

His defending is nowhere near JD’s standard

In a team where Skuse, Chambers, Judge and Sears were our best players. we have seriously upgraded since then....

Yet we find ourselves in a lower division… We might prefer the players and (in Particular) style of play of the current team but we’ve not ‘upgraded’ The longevity that Chambers and Skuse showed when playing consistently at Championship level year on year on year is easily overlooked because they are not fashionable or from a time we like to forget or simply criticise. They were good players in a league above where we are now. There are a handful of the current crop with far higher ceiling, but not yet

You know very little about defending then KVY is poor a penalty waiting to happen decent going forward, but not for me against decent sides did you not see him v Afolayen of Bolton Jesus

Chambers and Skuse were a pair of frauds and a massive factor in our stagnation in the championship. Not fashionable, they were awful who hoodwlnked many (including a few managers)

Chambers was hurt by numerous managers using him as a right back. Skuse controlled a midfeld far better than most of his successors have. They were maybe too old for us by the time they left but they gave us a lot for the majority of time they were here.

What we'd give for a prime skuse right now.

Well fu*k my old boot. It's unlike you to suddenly pop up with a deliberately divisive post.
