He's around 5'10", 5'11" which is more than adequate for a full back. The times he's been caught out have mainly been from set pieces and it really should have been one of our CBs marking the man Davis has been left with at the back post. | |

One clear example of where Frimmers is correct here (shudder) is the second Pompey goal we conceded at their place. Horrible big looping cross from their left, no jump whatsoever from Leif and he is beaten by their man who nods it back across for a tap in.
So, there is that 'weakness', but on the whole, a cracking player for us so far. |  | | |

I haven't said Davis is rubbish at crossing, not at all, BUT i'm unsure if they are as accurate as they can be, alot depends on runners, alot depends on his delivery, it's a mixture. Sometimes it'll be a bit of both.
So again, he's one of our better players on the ball, sometimes I feel he could do more in certain positions with the ball, but you can say that about a lot of players depending on their performances in the games you're discussing.
But again, you don't like any negative aspects of players being discussed or anyone not liking an aspect of a player that you don't believe yourself. | |

Also happened against Morcambe, the one chance they had which Edmundson blocked early on, it was a lost header at the far post by Davis which lead to the chance. | |

Are we saying he hasn't got a great leap on him then? i'd have thought he was a rather small fullback based on how he gets easily out jumped at times, but if that's quite a normal height then maybe it is just something that will come with time and gym time? | |
