Didn’t have a great time here but bought some good players that have been instrumental in our promotion and nobody can deny he done his best under Evans.

Nice bloke and it's difficult not to like him. However, he failed on two levels here.

1. Short term target of the play offs. When he joined we were two points of 6th after winning 3 in a row. he made us worse.

2. Given unlimited funds, he couldn't get a tune out of the team and KM has shown they were good enough.

edit. Great gol Dobra and it's clear he loves Cookie by those celebrations.

Lovely finish, great game this.

As GB said, he ran straight over to Cook which was a nice touch.

Who’s your money on if it goes to pens? I’m going County.

I feel like subbing the goalkeeper is the sort of bold move that results in an egg on face situation.

...and he's a nodger. Mair could be an unfortunate surname.

Can't believe that Cook's too nervous to watch the shoot out.

...or maybe not. Fair play, two good saves.

Does seem a knob though.

Just ridiculous.

Disappointed in Cook. He went to the dressing room rather than watch the penalties. Can't give your team much confidence.

Lacks the steel nerves of Kieran McKenna.

Yeah that's embarrassing, but not altogether unsurprising for an unprofessional football manager

Lol. I wonder if Chesterfield will get one of those post match pressers where his voice breaks.

That’s actually really poor as I think about it. Nothing like being in it together. And that was nothing like being in it together. Piss poor leadership.

Yes, well done Notts County. Deserved.

Heart breaking for Chesterfield, but thems the rules. I’m sure they’ll go again next season.

I remember him fondly for signing Chaplin, Walton, Morsy and Burns amongst others. Without them, we wouldn’t be in the Championship.
