Read the article about piggot potentially leaving this summer and have to ask does anyone else agree with me that this is poor from the club? Give the man a chance! We signed him and made a commitment to the player and have hardly given him a run of games. Also, we haven’t signed hirst on yet, so we are still light in the striker department. To me piggot would link up well with Chaplin in the championship and crucially he would be able to take away some of the spotlight from morsy who I think craves that at times and would be very grateful leading to a possible close friendship between the pair |  | | |  |

Just seems a bit odd that he went from scoring 20+ goals to not getting a start at his new club. We clearly thought he had something ( as do Pompey?) but he never seems to get a chance to show it with a run of games. I think he probably needs to drop down to league two to get himself going again. Confidence is everything isn’t it. I feel a bit sorry for him really. |
