Yeah very surprised that’s been rejected unless it’s been structured a certain way.

It's a lot of money, however he's playing for a PL team, is still relatively young, scored in the Champ last season and played some matches in the PL.
Given 1.5m for Taylor in the final year of his contract, what do we think is a realistic fee?
I think there might be a bit of mental scaring still for supporters from the ME days when there was no money and when things were perhaps cheaper.

Would have thought 4-4.5m would be about right to get him due to his potential but due to the amount of clubs interested I assume Everton are just trying to get about 5 million for him.

You may be right but I feel there must be much better value options out there, especially now being able to sign players from overseas.
If you look at all the top scorers in the Champ last season there are very few in there who cost £4/5m+. I don’t think we need to spend that kind of money in order to be competitive. | | | |

Long way down the road was the exact phrase, these things take time, Taylor took 3 windows, this one won’t be as long, either way and I don’t believe the “bid rejected” to be accurate either, just spoke to guy again and he tells a different story. | |
