It was definitely happening, because people were saying that Harper was clearly better than Dozzell and I was trying to make the point that if that was the case QPR could have bought him for less than half the price and on much lower wages but elected not to
It was also around this point that a couple of posters claimed the only reason we got £1m for Andre, was because that was his release clause and he actually wasn't worth that - and still couldn't grasp that a release clause being triggered means you are likely selling them for less than they are worth (and certainly not more than they were worth) |

well, if he has a move lined up with, say, a 3 yr deal, them agreeing a reduced pay off is def worth it from his perspective and ours. |
