It sounds good. I have to say though, as a non ST holder, I think ST holders should have been given an extra point just so you at least start with some priority over non ST holders.

Also rewards those who travelled last season which is another good idea.

In the Q&A it says having a membership last season automatically gets you 5 points. Not sure if ST included in that

I expect supporter satisfaction will vary based on their circumstance, but for me that is nowhere near as good a deal as the Silver membership. Perhaps to be expected going up a league, but losing the complimentary home ticket really reduces the value for money (and it is more expensive anyway).

We are selling games out, why give away a ticket when the club can make more money?

We aren’t a charity, we all want expensive signings, they don’t pay for themselves

Sounds good to me. Good season to start this too with larger allocations, majority of away games if people want to go they will be able to

The silver membership was practically free with the ticket and the teamcard points.

It would really defeat the entire point of revamping the system if they had kept that.

Given the attendances I don't think the club need to be giving away free tickets.

I expect there will be far less take up with this membership, but I suspect that is the point, the gold card became pointless last season as more than half of the ST holders seemed to have one.

Good, might finally mean some proper fans get to go to away games over daytrippers.

Makes sense because of the likely demand but 1 ticket per person for home matches is going to cause problems for people wanting to bring family and friends along!

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Can’t really give away the tickets these days though.

For me the stingy thing is reducing the 50% off coach travel to 25% haha.

Yep a bit stingy on that front, effectively paying for a queue jump and nothing else.

Shall probably just use the teamcard points that we’re getting.

Highly unlikely, you wouldn't want to set that precedent with 21.5k season ticket holders this year!

As a fan who can’t get down to Portman Road much but tries to get to half the away games this offers me access to more tickets than last year when I missed out. So selfishly I’m in favour but appreciate it may not suit everyone.

£40 for a membership card is a bit steep in my view. Given our ever increasing fan base I can see the club have had to do something, but £40?

Discounts on tickets and special promos etc so if you're planning on going to a few games you will get some of it back.

I think it makes sense. It might be more expensive but it'll be potentially better value for some.

I.e Cambridge last year. My Gold Card was worthless by that point

£40 will probably work while the demand is there. If the demand isn’t there the pricing would have to be looked at again.

I'm supportive of the change but I don't see how you've worked that out?

You only get discounted tickets at women's games from what I can make out, so you'd have to spend more than you would normally to save that so don't see what you'd be getting back?
