Indeed. Town's transfer business, unless it is with Peterborough United, often seems to be done largely behind closed doors these days, which I regard as healthy. Given the names we have been linked with, we are clearly shopping at a higher level than for many years so there will be more competition for players. i'm sure McKenna has identified his prime targets & a back-up list & once we get a couple more in, we'll see a few departures too. loans of PL players also tend to be done at the last minute. All a huge improvement on the old Evans/.Mick years when we waited around for the left overs. |  |
