This isn't meant as a dig at them and I'm unsure of their current geographical location or employment situation
I saw the Wembley highlights and was reminded of Naylor scoring and then setting up the 4th goal. He ended up approaching 400 games for us in all competitions and had a testominial yet since retiring I don't think has had much, or anything, to do with us (maybe co-comms on Suffolk?).
Fabian Wilnis as well - over 300 games, 10 years at ITFC, brought him to England etc.

I can see how he could make a case for George Burley in terms of overspending/messing up squad harmony (not saying I agree, but I presume that's what Elephant is getting at). I'd love to know what Matt Holland did wrong though. |  |

James Scrowcroft is another. Brilliant player, local but I can't ever remember him on anything ITFC related or at the ground.

I was thinking that too, obviously, but it would be absolutely ridiculous to suggest a club's woes are down to a player not fancying a move (for whatever reason). No player is obliged to make any move when they're under contract, regardless of how good it might be for the parent club. | |
