| Cruncher to be Crunched. (n/t) on 08:32 - Sep 14 by unbelievablue | People make a living from engagement online. I couldn't be arsed with that, but if that's someone's bag, power to them. I don't think it's causing any harm. Live and let live. |
“Live and let live.” That will never happen on here, quite a few of the regulars seem creepily obsessed with him!!! [Post edited 14 Sep 2023 8:36]

| Cruncher to be Crunched. (n/t) on 08:32 - Sep 14 by WeirdFishes | It amazes me how many of the people doing that don’t see anything wrong with it too. |
Like yourself, I'm well up on points (26) but that people are buying them and trying to sell when the sales window is still open and they could return them to the club is just never going to wash when done so brazenly. If you want to buy a ticket for the point and it will continue to happen, then you either have to shift it to a mate or suck it up and lose the money - they are the only 2 options. I'll need an extra ticket or two for an away game in the future and will utilise mates with decent priorities, I have mates who can only get to a couple of away games a season and they'll try and do the same with others in our group so we can all sit together etc. That obviously isn't totally right but is the sort of thing that has always and will always happen but people have become so panicked by ticket priority they are making stupid decisions - people with 20+ points still buying tickets to sell as worry about the Norwich game......they'll have enough points already!

What he does (rightly or wrongly) is retweet when someone is looking to offload a ticket. So people will tag him and he will retweet. Nothing more. Example below of a tweet he retweeted. |
He sent our tweets asking for volunteers in the high tiers who would be able to buy tickets for Sheff Weds & Southampton matches for those in lower tiers if they're not going to those matches. He has now deleted those tweets.

| Cruncher to be Crunched. (n/t) on 20:03 - Sep 13 by mattwin | This has to be a joke! What a load of absolute tosh!! All he is doing is providing people with information on available tickets with no profit being made! The police would not waste their time with this as he is doing nothing wrong!! He has a large following on Twitter so reposts for people with less followers and there is no harm in this. There really are some idiots about. It all leads back from most who can’t get away tickets as they haven’t received enough points last season to get them this season. The club bought this system in! Knowone else |
He was literally asking for people in higher tiers to reach out to him if they could buy tickets for Sheff Weds & Southampton so they get the points even if they're not going...

| Cruncher to be Crunched. (n/t) on 20:29 - Sep 13 by olimar | Im surprised that Seat Geek dont already do it. I wrote to the club about this when they came in and asked if they would offer any facility to swap seats for a game, or make it available for transfer and they said it was something that was in the pipeline. |
Seatgeek has its own seatswap module however this isn't the most suitable in this case. It is likely that Town would use one of the more suitable SaaS platforms and integrate it over the API.

"people have become so panicked by ticket priority they are making stupid decisions" Yes, very much this. Add in a bit of a herd instinct and it's all got a bit silly.

I'm on 18, started on 16 and my boy started on 14. We've had no issue getting tickets for Sunderland or Sheff Wed. don't understand why people are panic buying.

Fck me those days were mental. Remember going to Tesco at 6am for my weekly shop (didn't fancy battling the crowds later on) and there was like a hundred yard queue as they wanted to stagger the shoppers. I ended up buying a few packs of baby wipes as all the bog roll was gone and I was down to emergency rations at home!

As someone who has picked up late spares on occasion - including on here from some well known posters (thank you again BTW), I suspect this affair has completely screwed the opportunity to even ask for them, let alone those who have a mate who suddenly can't make the game offering them. Given the furore, I can't imagine the response I'd get asking on a Friday or Saturday if there's a spare for e.g. Huddersfield away because my prior engagement has been cancelled. Ultimately, there will be wasted tickets as a result - so 'thanks' to all of those who have turned it into an industry. [Post edited 14 Sep 2023 14:28]

Yeah, I remember getting on my bike and searching the corner shops of Walthamstow for bog roll - the relief when I hit the jackpot...!

| Cruncher to be Crunched. (n/t) on 15:40 - Sep 14 with 2021 views | Stenvict | I wanted to get a mate a ticket for QPR away, so I got in touch with Cruncher, because he's aware of who has spare tickets. He managed to source me a ticket on the day of the game. I have no problem with this, as it's a last minute solution. The issue is him offering to sell peoples tickets who are eligible for early priority and have no intention of attending said game. | |

And, in addition to that, it would appear that he's also been known to buy up spare tickets in order to sell them on himself.

Funnily enough been out for a ride today as it happens. Lovely day for it although way more traffic than during the lockdowns. They really were the perfect time for cycling 👍

He does seem a very angry chap. A number of posters, myself included actually pointed out that Cruncher has done no/little harm but the chap is obviously upset/looking for a row.
