For once I happen to have 100% rock solid inside info as to why he’s missing. The real reason is he’s had a gender identity crisis whilst meeting Doctor Who and travelling back in time too when that picture was taken (that’s him 2nd from the front). They’re not sure when he’ll be back, but it’s got something to do with the Daleks.

The few games he has played in for Ipswich were possibly the best games he has enjoyed since playing football in any team. Please note I used the word 'possibly'.
