If I was McKenna I wouldn't be too impressed with hearing 'we've got the ball' and 'we've had a shot' from away end. We've just lost first away game of season against a well coached West Brom side after our Incredible run carrying on from last season. Probably our worst display this season but it happens. Self depreciation is just a bit weird when you’re unbeaten away and the top scorers in the league. Also probably not particularly helpful for the players to hear during the last few minutes of the game on a tough night. |  | | |

That’s not having a laugh. That’s tinpot small club mentality. It’s disrespectful to the team, who were having a difficult day, and disrespectful to the coaching staff.
I think you get a lot of unfair stick on here from the same people who would down arrow you if you posted that the world is round, but you’ve been relentless in your negativity and “hot takes” since yesterday’s defeat. Worse than TalkingBlues.

I don't go to away games any more as i always seem to be next or very near to some absolute weapons. Obviously plenty of other (older) fans have different experiences and I'm not tarring everyone with the same brush. It's a vocal minority for sure, and maybe it's just not for me any more (old fart, overly critical of divs). |  |

As I keep saying we have a percentage of fans who feel entitled.
Anybody who watches and understands football will know a football team sometimes have an off day and they lose. Same as in any part of life, people have off days at work. Football is a job to footballers.
But we have some fans who for some reason are expecting the team to be perfect every game and win it by 2, 3 nil.
We were always going to lose games this season. Ffs we've lost 2 games, some as Man City, and look how many millions they spent on players. All teams have bad periods in a season.
My fear this season was always the entitled fans would turn quickly rather than support the team. I've supported Town long enough to know they can turn quickly. Hopefully they will have a look in the mirror this morning and understand if we want success we have to support the team |  | | |
