Yes - that's very true. I do think a lot of the accounts like his and Alan Nixon seem to rely a lot on agents as sources - who clearly have their own agendas.
Would be a hell of a signing if we could get it done, he was superb for Sunderland last season. Obviously McKenna's connections at United can't hurt either.
McKenna's profile for players generally seems to be • A good age • Potentially good resale value • some past pedigree
As others have said, ideally it's a player who has been playing who can get up to speed quicker but I suppose we still have Jackson and Ladapo to cover that area whilst they catch up
