Getting to the Prem is worth way more than anything we can resell him for. He'd thrive here and Blackburn are just trying to strong arm us. Can see this getting done easier than some of the other targets.

I'd be surprised if the supposed £1.5m being rejected is correct to be fair - maybe it could reach that with promotion bonuses, appearances etc but doubt it's that sort of cost up front.

Nope, that's not correct but was doing the rounds a few days ago. He is on more than anyone we have due to being a Championship player though so it's going to be a new hurdle we have to negotiate for any signing. | |

It's Jan and sellers market. We will have to overpay to get someone of the required level unfortunately.
I think we're already having to be flexible for what is available. Absolutely we would prefer someone 22-25. But they just aren't available in our budget because people don't want to sell. | |
