Because he didn’t pass it back deliberately, he stuck a foot out and it deflected backwards towards their keeper. | |

Must be because the ref deemed it an interception/block rather than a deliberate pass. Not an opportunity we missed out on though because as you say the keeper sought permission first. | | | |

And in SBR Upper, it didn't look like a back pass to me or my mate in real time.
