Sky were talking about those stats as well. Insane.

Truly impaired.

Crazy stats, they look not too dissimilar to a football computer game that you get good at really quickly.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Neil Harris wasn’t it? Arguably worse.

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

Someone last night commented (when we were patiently playing out from the back) that under McCarthy we'd have just pumped it forward. I though yeah and we wouldn't be 3-0 up, wouldn't have 3k fans here and wouldn't be sitting within spitting distance of automatic promotion.

And it's not just how well we are doing - it's the fact that our footie is enjoyable to watch as opposed to the utter dirge served up in his last couple of years.

KM really has transformed the team and made watching Towen an enjoyable experience again. Long may it continue :-)

When those sort of stats were being posted in league 1, it was easy to dismiss as just about having the financial muscle compared to other teams, but to have continued that a division above is incredible.

We've got super Kieran McKenna!

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

We spoke to him, but not sure how likely he was to ever get it to be fair.

That’s certainly all true, and Mick’s more pragmatic approach was typical of most of his career so I’m not suggesting we would ever have seen champagne football under him, but he was dealt a different hand to KM. A hand KM may well not have decided to play to be fair to Mick. You can’t make a silk purse out of a pigs ear, and I don’t think all our football was bad. It was direct at times but there were some good days under him. McKenna’s doing an unbelievable job, but the conditions he’s operating in are very different as well.

We had some very good London away days with Mick in 2014/15, including a January day at Millwall

McKenna is on a different level to anything we've seen here since Burley, but Mick a long way clear in second place for those we had to endure during the Evans era

I’m not sure taking 2nd from that list is much of an achievement though

I seem to recall that it was reported (or leaked, perhaps...?) that we were on the cusp of signing him, which provoked quite the uproar from the fanbase.

It was only ever going one way from that point onwards.

It's a pretty hefty drop off after Mick.

Careful what you wish for. Dreaming that a team can be coached to perform greater than the sum of its parts is so ridiculous.
