Good write-up by Stuart Watson 13:25 - Feb 15 with 3698 viewswhymark4lazio0

In the first para, he highlighted that in the first 15 minutes it could easily have gone all wrong like it did away at Preston. This league is all about fine margins. In recent weeks they've conspired against us, let's hope the tide has well and truly turned.

I especially liked his last para:-

"Whatever happens, keep backing these boys to the hilt. Forgive them slightly off days and show each and every one of them the love. They’ve certainly earned that. Special teams like this don’t come around very often. Don’t take that for granted."

Well said, Mr. Watson

Just 12 league defeats in ONE HUNDRED GAMES. Quite astonishing.

That last bit is very well put. Seems to me increasingly that some of our fans have begun to take the good stuff for granted while piling in on the slightest of rough edges. Never ends well. There's so much to enjoy and look forward to, May is going to be colossal whatever happens inbetween.

Having watched Town from a young boy to an old man I have seen it all. The ups and downs of ITFC and whilst the comparisons between teams cannot really be made due to players now being fitter perhaps, but possibly less physical become the game doesn't allow it. Whether Town and McKenna can ever reach the heights of the Robson era I have my doubts. Not impossible, but improbably due to how players were purchased and exchanged in the Robson era. Now there's much more evidence available and probably more teams after certain players. But whatever, enjoy the ride as there's no doubt we have a team now after years in the football wilderness.

A very good article which hits the nail squarely on the head.

I keep telling my young Son to enjoy every minute of this period, as teams do not do what we are doing very often at all.

Our form over the past couple of seasons has been absolutely mental.

Now, let's get down to Swansea, do the right things and give ourselves a chance of getting a good result - COYB!

Didn't we lose to Rotherham away? When Baggott started? Perhaps not under KM.

Yes, Sunderland is in there erroneously.

Plus Cambridge as already mentioned.

I still discount the Oxford defeat like Man Utd's 9th goal.

Just think that tweet is just over a year old, and yet in 3 months time, (although odds against) there is a reasonable prospect of 2 divisions being between us.

Excellent as ever from Stu.

One of the many things that is so pleasing about the rebirth of the club and this fantastic side is seeing Watson rewarded for years of excellent reporting during very bleak times.

I have a vague memory of his first time covering us being a pre season in Holland? Maybe Jewell?

And given he’s an Everton fan what a miserable few years it’s been for him. Glad he’s having some fun stuff to report on.

Keep this in your back pocket mate. We might need to refer to this again in future after we "only" get a point from a hard fought draw somewhere!

Very much so. Hladky was a bit fortunate with one save and looked a bit fumbly on another. I was impressed with some of the work rate to get back though. Clarke’s break neck rim and challenge epitomising that.

Mad innit.

100 games under KM, and in 88 of them we've walked away with something. Remarkable. Relentless.

I really hope someone at the club is analysing / trying to work out why we seem to start games so badly a lot of the time. No wonder we are one of the best and getting points from losing posiitions.
