If KM leaves then there needs to be a continuation in style as that is the makeup of the squad. On that list it’ll be Carrick for me - the rest are quite unappealing.

I’d quite like Cooper tbh.

Moyes is not an MA appointment. He's outlined his criteria for a manager many times and it simply isn't the profile.

Just get a temp manager in for a year: if KM goes to Man U or Chelsea he will be sacked in 12 months and we can just take him back.

It's fair to say we are undecided. Corberan for me.

Not sure any of those will be sensible options in 5 years time.

Liam Manning first choice, then Rosenior. Both I feel could take the players on without scrapping all the hard work and starting again.

Potter all day long.

Most know what he did at Brighton but for those that don't know his story in Sweden they really should read about it. Fantastic culture he set up at Ostersunds FK.

He'd be such a perfect fit for Ipswich and Suffolk.

But Carrick has been serioulsy unininspiring. So far off the pace last season with a decent squad is a massive red flag for me. I'd be underwhlemed.

Just because he has a similar ethic to Mckenna doesn't mean he's any good.

Why is Potter unappealing. Have you seen what he's done in his career before he got to Brighton. Brilliant story in Sweden

Totally agree. McKenna will be sacked with a year at Man Utd or Chelsea

He'd be out of our reach I assume. Would be very happy with him though.

Imagine KM goes Brighton and we get De Zerbi, take 6 points off em and finish above them.

I had thought he'd be out of our reach. But if the numbers being reported around Mckenna contract and IF we have offered him those terms (i'm still doubtful myself) then maybe finacially we could offer Potter something he'd be interested in.

Anyway all academic, I'm stll fairly optimistic Kieran will be here come August

Not sure he would. The suggested reason for leaving Brighton was lack of control over transfers - he'd get that here. With likely a decent budget and ready-made squad which plays in his preferred style. Also, I saw a figure suggested for salary of around £1.5m per year, which we could easily match. We've got a significant analysis set-up, maybe not quite Brighton's, but likely to be as good as most.

I could definitely see us being attractive.

Aside from the fact Manning is a Norwich fan and his family are CR season ticket holders.... He left Oxford for Bristol a few months ago. If he up sticks again and he turns out a success, we'd be going through this stress everytime another job came up knwoing he has form for leaving as soon the first offer comes along.

I’ve read that Robins is happy at Coventry and likes living where he does in the Midlands. Terrific manager though.

How about David Wagner? Experienced, had success, what’s not to like?

Only joking!
