If Mckenna leaves us who would you like to take over? on 15:28 - May 23 by Guthrum
Not sure he would. The suggested reason for leaving Brighton was lack of control over transfers - he'd get that here. With likely a decent budget and ready-made squad which plays in his preferred style. Also, I saw a figure suggested for salary of around £1.5m per year, which we could easily match. We've got a significant analysis set-up, maybe not quite Brighton's, but likely to be as good as most.
I could definitely see us being attractive.
When he's wanted by some of Europe's biggest clubs?

Fair enough
I take it then you think Warnock is a good suggestion as you haven't shown your disagreement about that one.
I saw that more as an ironic post.
Let's get something clear though, it's extremely weird for you to tell me which posts I should and shouldn't agree with and to go around checking on that. You do it a lot so I would ask that you please stop it.

Prem is Prem and we're in it. Tho lack of immediate likelihood of European competition would count against us, something he could get by leaving England.

No it's ok, it's interesting to know you HAD to downvote my suggestion which was genuine against the op, but didn't feel the need to downvote a suggestion of warnock, almost like you're picking and choosing which poster yo'd like to wind up, I would ask you please stop it. OF all people, you are the only one i've had issues with since my return and one of the biggest reasons things went badly before, so just stop.

I downvoted it because it was an idiotic suggestion in my opinion.
He's a highly rated young manager who just finished in the top 5 in Serie A and qualified for the Champions League and you're putting him out there as someone we are likely to get. It's just pointless posting from you.
As for the rest of it, the issues you had before were all of your own making, it's totally unacceptable for you to accuse me of being the issue when it's you who were causing great offence to the family of a Town player and generally winding up most of the forum with your posts - there is a reason why so many had you on ignore.
Now cut it out and take some responsibility for your own actions.

FFS can you two stop this and stop cluttering up decent threads. It's really annoying having to bypass the junk from you two squabbling.
And for what's it worth you're just as bad as he is in laboring the point and contributing to the squabble that the rest of us have to view. Take it to PM if you need to but it's not fair to clutter decent threads. This happens all too frequnetly.
My gut feeling is Potter is unrealistic for us, what with the Chelsea nest egg and paper talk of him biding his time for another top job. Yet if Man Utd and England aren't making overtures now, when both are on the cusp of requiring change, he may well need to wake up to his new standing after more than a year out. Curbishley made the same mistake and was forgotten.

Middlesbrough had a lot of injuries last season.
In regards to Potter - hands up, I didn’t read the options properly and didn’t see him.
Fair enough. True they did have injuries. Just never been that impressed by their performances. Even their draw at PR i thought we absolutely bossed them.
The more i think about Potter the more i think he will be a coup whoever next installs him. His career has beeen superb other than Chelsea, and we all know what a car crash Chelsea was. Wrong club at the wrong tome for Potter. It took Poch a long time to get a tune.
I think we'd be a perfect fit if we need a manager and he was interested.
I really hope KMcK does not read TWTD. Voting on his successor when at the moment it is all media speculation - URGH! Oh for the world before social media and the internet.
