I live in Arizona. This won't sway the hard right. Hell, this plays right into his hands. He has half the country conned that for whatever reason, they think he is our saviour. If he wins, we're effed and our democracy will be over. This will be a revenge tour and nothing more. He called democrats Human Scum yesterday. I think that says all you need to hear.

Doing illegal things and getting charged for them doesn't mean it's politically motivated. We now know he was guilty of illegal acts and thus was correctly charged.
You mean overturned by the Supreme Court that Trump stacked in his favour just in case something like this happened? If you're looking for a politically motivated event then perhaps looking at the Supreme Court appointments might be an idea.

I'm no apologist for Trump but I agree that pursuing Trump appears counter-productive.
Throw in Gaza, and with the election hanging on about 6 swing states, all it will take is for a small fraction of the Democrat vote to be affected in somewhere like Georgia to make all the difference.
As it it, there is something rather corrupt about a legal system that has politically appointed prosecutors, DAs and judges, whichever side they are on. |  | | |

I'm not sure I do believe it's politically motivated.
It's a simple narrative to perpetuate in an election year, but it could just as easily have gone to court last year. Guilty on all 34 counts would still be guilty on all 34 counts regardless of when the case was tried.
