Never realised how loud that moment was.

Always nice to have an excuse to post that goal again :)

I do hope we bring him back. He's like a broadhead but with the desire to hurt people too :)

I watched it once. Then I watched it again once for each player so I could focus on each player's reaction throughout the clip. Then I watched it again once for everybody in the crowd so I could see their reactions. Then I watched it again because I could almost see myself nearly falling over the barrier at the front of the North Stand Upper when I was celebrating.

I haven't watched it enough yet.

This clip is my happy place.

Feeling a bit stressy? Bung it on again and watch a different player.

All is then good with the world.

I love Morsys reaction the most.

I love how McKenna is calming everyone down - meanwhile Chappers has set off on a 50yard dash across the park.

Can you imagine if the booking that Chappers got meant he got a suspension

A rare compliment to Sky but their commentary for this goal is so much better than ours. Initial reaction then a long silence to enjoy purely the crowd noise.

I always struggle to watch the towntv version back with the cringe he’s magic comment.

Yeah, fair play to them for that.

Some of it may have been speechlessness though! We were a ridiculous team to watch at times.

My favourite ever moment at Portman Road, I’ve never experienced anything like it. Plenty of great ones over the years - the Bolton play off, Murhen’s volley against Forest, Megson’s OG, AZ67 etc but this topped the lot for me.

I thought the “he’s magic you know” on the Town TV commentary was spot-on and perfect for the moment. But the joy of that was a little bit undone by the mundane bit that came after it. The occasion deserved and needed more than the rather bland “town have come from 2-1 down to lead 3-2”.

The more times you watch it the better it gets. It trumps the play-off win at Wembley for me - it was the point at which we knew we probably had a better chance of going up than not if we kept doing things our way. We were probably going to leave two of the most powerful teams ever in the Championship behind us. The team knew it, the fans knew it, it was becoming reality. We were back.

As someone else said, need cheering up, just re-watch that clip! Just everything about it is pure feel good footballing perfection. I’ve followed for decades, and this moment, in SBR with the sheer wall and duration of noise, is without doubt THE standout moment.

It’s just one of “those” moments, isn’t it. I’m watching it again now (for the gazzilionth time) and it still brings the broadest grin to my stupid face, and also a little tear well up, with a lump in my throat. I still want to punch the air and jump up and down like a loon! For me, so much came out in that moment. All the cr@p of the previous decade, the humiliations, the hurt, the lows, the grind, the boredom…..and it kind of came out at that moment and everything positive just spilled out. Must admit I went a bit light headed I was screaming and celebrating so hard!

One of them if not my moment of the season this. I collapsed to my knees when this went in, and all I could do afterward was look up at the wife and say, "This fking team".

I literally had nothing left that day, I was exhausted.

It took me hours to come down from that. Literally shaking for ages.

I then spent the entire second half of that Coventry game pacing around my flat. I was desperate for the season just to finish.

That goal moved me like never before. A mixture of being outplayed for most of the game but finding a way to win, and all those years of hurt and disappointment and having not even false hopes but no hopes under Evans and his merry band of useless managers being swept away. Watching the North explode like that, just sensational. Made me cry at the time, still sends a shiver down the spine on the 500th viewing.

All that constant talk since early in the season of us falling away and they won’t last; 90+7 was the ultimate fk you to the non-believers.

Aside from the sheer joy of it, it’s a world class finish, too.

On my subsequent viewings, the ball crosses the line quicker as well.

Feck me, it was agonising first time around. Seemed to creep in slow motion.

These players walk in the footsteps of giants, but they're determined to write their own history!

That really is up there in the echelons of Town commentary, that needs plastering on the outside of PR somewhere.
