Yeah that's the thing and you could easily bring this figure upwards if the likes of Harness and Edmundson don't hand around.
It's going to be really interesting to see how we spread the money around. The problem is, anyone half decent seems to be commanding a fee of circa 15-20m!
Think we'll need to use the loan market well again to get 2 or 3 others in and then try find some free transfers - but even they seem to cost if the Johnson rumours of signing on/agent fees are to be believed! |  |

Agree with your assessment. Greaves valuation must be getting there, but both will probably depend on interest from elsewhere. If Barca really are interested then obviously that makes that deal unlikely, while Everton and West Ham being keen on Greaves could scupper that if they're willing to pay more than we are. |  | | |

Looks like Bologna are getting closer to having Zirkzee bought off them which presumably makes stumping up a bit more cash for Ioannidis less of an issue for them.
Feels like players of that profile/interest would require us to get in early and persuade the club to sell and them to join before bigger clubs start throwing their weight around, which it seems like we tried to do here. Philogene probably in that category as well. |  |

Some have suggested 90m figure as well. But you'd think a striker would cost 20m and then a CM could cost 10-15m. Not to mention a new keeper.

I was told £90m which was a super solid source. Sounds like we could spend £55m of that on 3 players.
Reality is these things can be quite fluid though. Just because we have it doesn't mean we spend it, and I dare say we won't constrain ourselves to an arbitrary figure if a great deal is there to be done and we can stretch ourselves to it. Also depends on departures to a degree, although unlikely to be any fees that'll move the needle massively. It all helps though if we can get a few million in for Ahadme, El-Miz, perhaps an Edmundson or Harness etc. |  | | |
