Would be a great signing for £20m and add ons but he's probably on too high wages.

Truly impaired.

Who was the Liverpool goalie who had a disastrous European Cup final game and what happened to him?

Yeah, I'd have thought so. Too high in fee, wages, hair products, etc.

.......But as Brian Clough proved - you should pay top dollar for a goalie.

We turned Shilton fee down, but we would have won the league with Shilton.

Agreed. I’d much rather someone like this than a youngster like Rushworth with very little experience.

Yes. We aren’t looking to challenge for Europe in our first season back. A very good keeper is needed but we aren’t at the stage of paying £25milliin for one. Need that money to strengthen other areas on the pitch.

We leaked goals in the Championship.

We need a big upgrade on Goalie and centre backs.

We are trying to upgrade the defence. I think the no 1 keeper will be an experienced loanee.

If he wants regular first team football, would there be any possibility of a loan? Liverpool get to keep him, he gets regular Premier League experience and we get use of him for a season (plus they don't have to face him when they play us).

Quite possibly. Given that it would appear in theory that the club has sanctioned serious expenditure on Philogene/Greaves (or alternatives), plus a pricey striker, plus presumably a central midfielder. I would think that £25m for a keeper on top of that is a lot.

I'm not saying he's not worth it in the current climate, by any means. You'd think that someone would pay that. Forest have been linked, and they're just the sort of outfit to splash the cash and ask questions later.

For a proven premier league keeper at a good age i don't think that's too crazy.

15 prem games? For a team where he faces few shots? At 25 years old?

Rushworth has over 120 professional league games, including 46 in the Champ.

I'm not sure Kelleher has better experience.
