It's gone from - "They'll never keep this form up" to "They'll fall apart at Christmas" to "Soton / Leeds / WBA will catch them" to " "They won't win a game next season" to Binner McKenna is off to Palace / Brighton / Chelsea / Man U" to "They may as well have R for relegated next to their name already" to "£80m, the binners are bankrupting themselves" [Post edited 13 Jul 2024 16:57]

To be fair, over the years there’s been enough threads about them on here so the obsessed line lacks some awareness. One thing I’ve noticed about them is that when they were in the ascendancy they were a tad more reasonable regarding their criticism of our various managers. Now they are becoming much more desperate in their posts. If I were them I’ll be more concerned about where all of the PL money has gone. They had zero ambition in the PL and seemed content to be a yo-yo club. As we discovered under Evans, if you don’t progress, other clubs catch you up, leaving you to slowly slip further away.

They need to sell some, and a little birdie told me they're getting worried that they're not getting any 'big' offers.

He scored a couple of offside goals against us. Would be no good to have with VAR.

In theory it wasn't a bad plan, the money you gain from PL status and the players you can buy almost guarantee you a return back from the Championship. So it becomes virtually sustainable, if you don't believe you can be sustainable against well some clubs are nation states aren't they in the PL. Except if you muck up the promotion part, then it unravels quickly and spirals downward

They haven’t the benefit of parachute payments which means that they aren’t in a strong position to negotiate. Their best outcome is for a few clubs to be interested in Sara etc so that a bidding war starts pushing up the price.

My good friend is a Norwich fan and he tried to take the piss. I just said to him we have just been promoted back to back to the Premier League, this isn't the best time for you to say that we are rubbish. Norwich are looking good for 20+ years undefeated against us.

Christ no! He's flashy on occasion, but generally crap! I wouldn't have wanted him in the Championship even as a back up player. Not unless he develops his off the ball game and consistency. Flashy but rubbish.

I remember popping the tv on the evening after the home derby and finding a full replay of the game on sky thought ‘I I’ll just watch it up until broadys goal’ and just realised how rubbish Rowe was in that first half hour. Gave the ball away a few times, almost leading to goals etc

One of them told me before last season that we would do well to stay up because, unlike them, we hadn’t won L1 and lost a friendly to Cambridge (totally unaware that we beat RB Leipzig - if friendlies count for anything). They are just living in hope.
