Barring McKenna - Kalvin Philips IMO would be our biggest signing in 20 years. England international with 30 caps, who is just 28 years old and was the standout performer at the Euros when we lost to Italy. If McKenna can get him fit and firing - he could genuinely be the difference

Yep, but was only on the fringes of the squad - never a regular, before during or after his time here. Think he only got about a dozen caps which given the success he had here is odd. | |

I think you're right that Sergei may have been the most prominent international at a time when he was signed by Town, excluding Warkie as a buy-back. Balatacha had played about 40 games for the Soviet Union, and had appeared in the 1982 World Cup. | |
