As someone above said, the Ref put his whistle to his mouth prior to the flag going up so he thought there was enough in it to be a pen.

Yep - he did it as well up against Robertson. Commentator (when I watched it back at home) called him out on it saying he had 'jumped unnaturally' as he checked back. I realise most Prem teams have several players like this (look at Man Utd on Friday night with Diallo, Garnacho and even Harry Maguire!) but I don't like to see it from an Ipswich player. | |

Yep.
He stopped the game. Wouldn't ha e stopped it for a tight offside. After he stopped it flag went up and he went back to the offside which was checked and shown to be right. |  |
