I saw their recent 60th anniversary look back at the region's sport during that time and there were two mentions of Norwich and one of Ipswich.
They included footage of Norwich's celebrations for their promotion in 2004 with Delia and Stewart White on the balcony in front of the genetically challenged hordes below and they then had a bit on their stunning run in Europe in 1993 when they were knocked out before Christmas — the footage made it look like the game in Munich was their FA Cup final, which it basically was. Bless them.
We got a section dedicated to our FA Cup success but I don't remember much about our own European exploits, or indeed anything else. They obviously weren't impressive enough. |  |
