Really emphasised that it was a ‘big night of football’ because Norwich were playing Leeds in the 18:30 bulletin and just did the same again on the late one.

Didn’t say anything about our game Sunday on the Monday evening episode.

Nothing changes.

I saw their recent 60th anniversary look back at the region's sport during that time and there were two mentions of Norwich and one of Ipswich.

They included footage of Norwich's celebrations for their promotion in 2004 with Delia and Stewart White on the balcony in front of the genetically challenged hordes below and they then had a bit on their stunning run in Europe in 1993 when they were knocked out before Christmas — the footage made it look like the game in Munich was their FA Cup final, which it basically was. Bless them.

We got a section dedicated to our FA Cup success but I don't remember much about our own European exploits, or indeed anything else. They obviously weren't impressive enough.

To be fair East Anglia is a big area.
However...
No Rugby Union teams in the Premier League.
No Rugby League teams.
No First class cricket teams.
No F1 circuits. Snetterton does bikes sometimes.
There's Newmarket Race course but how many meets are there per year?

Frankly, if it wasn't for ITFC they'd have nothing to report on, yet they somehow seem to forget we exist.
Sad days.

To be fair to them last night would have been one of the biggest nights in the last 60 years.

I know they were under that cosh for 90% of the game but that is a huge point for them against Leeds.

Just what I was thinking. What is the biggest league in English football? The Premier League or The League That Leeds Are In?

Didn’t he play up front for Norwich when they lost an FA Cup game 70 years ago?

If it wasn't raining so much, that would be an open top bus job for them.

They still have an open top bus parade to celebrate his participation in that event.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

It was particularly weird to mention the FA Cup success but not the UEFA Cup win, only to then mention Norwich's 'run' in Europe

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!
