I'd rather we had an actual number 9, Watkins has shown he's more than capable and has been more effective than Kane recently.
But we all know that if Kane was fit he'd be starting. He's not playing a "false 9" out of choice, he's doing it because Kane is injured.
Changing formation because one player is injured shouldn't happen, particularly not at international level. | |
