Ballot Success Rate 16:12 - Oct 16 with 4720 viewsbsw72

So, I did not receive my email in my inbox so have now only been successful for 1 from 6 ballot attempts, the successful one being Liverpool. I have managed to secure a ticket through general sale each time though, will see if that luck continues on Monday.

I suddenly thought I should check my spam folder, just in case, and the good news is that I have won £5K and been able to head off being arrested by the HMRC - just needed to send my bank details each time. Phew, how lucky am I?

Not that lucky, you obviously didn't get the email telling you you could be in line for a penis enhancer.

Reminds me, must follow up on that.

I think they have some formula that they are making sure everyone will win tickets at least once via the ballot before people start to win again.

I know a few people who only have managed to win once. Happy to be corrected if anyone has been lucky enough to get multiple wins in the home ballot!

1 / 6 for me as well and that's the Everton game. I've only managed to get general sale tickets once so far (Fulham).

The club have categorically stated that this isn't the case and each ballot is not influenced by previous.

In theory you could be successful 19 times or alternatively not at all (with somebody else being successful 19 times)

Joking aside, I did have a "you've been successful in the ballot" email go into my junk folder. Luckily I saw it in time.

How do people know when tickets go on sale?

I occasionally check (like now) and it says nothing is available.

Then some random time I check twtd and the messages are all:

“5369 in the queue for Newcastle, lol”

Edit: I’m just a member, these days.

Get emails and social media posts, like the club just put on FB and Twitter about the Crystal Palace ballot.

Hmm. That’s somewhat irritating, I’d hoped there was a list somewhere.

I'm sure the maths of stochastic probability would actually say in theory you can't :)

But in any case most random functions that are applied in stuff like this rarely in reality are because they always muck up picking the random seed first, which sets it on a predetermined course of non randomness

Maths is fun ;)

My family of 3 got their first successful ballot for Man Utd match. I had advised them that they were never likely to be successful based on probability of all 3 of them needing to be 'picked'. But I am obviously wrong....

The 3 of them have managed to get 2 other matches via General Sale on the Monday bunfight!!

0/5 for home tickets - managed to miss one ballot. Always entered for 2 tickets. Have been reasonably successful in the 10am Monday morning bun-fights though.

Have to change that to 1/5 - just got the email for tickets for Man U

For some reason I don't even get the option to join.

Still can't see Bournemouth on the HOME MATCHES tab.

I paid for a membership. I also have at least one home ticket purchase from last season. Which I thought was enough to qualify me.

Am I missing something?
