I know I should grow up and that, but when you can't shake the feeling you've been cheated it's hard to let go innit?

Except that's just not true is it? Just because we made mistakes in a performance, that doesn't mean incompetence and refusal to acknowledge that makes your contrarianism valid.

If you don't think the rules being applied incorrectly and selectively, denying us a result isn't being cheated then there's nothing to say in your favour. Especially when they have, and we are told the tools are there to stop this happening.

Yeah, sickening that we’ve got 1 point from the last 2 games when it really should’ve been 4.

Still annoyed about it.

Yep! Two weeks running when I don’t usually feel like that. How I yearn for the average incompetence of EFL referees.

I made this point yesterday. We shouldn't need to score 2-3 goals a week just to make sure we win accounting for officiating incompetence.

I expect our players to make mistakes that will cost us points, I expect the officials to apply the rules fairly for both teams. I can put up with the odd howler from the ref/VAR but this is happening far too frequently to forgive and not to at least question the integrity of the officials. I'm not one to give credence to conspiracy theories but this is just too common now to not feel there's nothing more to it than just incompetence.

BTW, yes, I am still angry!!!

Imo it's not about scoring 2/3 to be clear of a ref issue.

But you need imo to be getting 2/3 so you're not having to go into 90 odd minutes worrying about conceding one. Plus it's very rare you get 0 goals conceded in the prem esp as a promoted side.

But as I stated I can forgive that from our players. Our players cannot replay a mistake, they have one opportunity to make sure they have made the correct choice. The officials are literally employed to make sure the rules are applied fairly for all, they even have a review system to ensure that happens. They can replay the action over and over to confirm a decision is correct, yet we're having as many, if not more bad decisions against us as we've had in the lower leagues without the review system.

Wait - we needed to score 2 goals in order to deal with the ref denying us a penalty which was so stonewall that even Leicester fans and all MotD pundits thought it should have been given?

Thanks for confirming that the Foxes were playing with 12 men.

Is a penalty not a very very good chance of scoring that 2nd goal?.... btw what's the xg of a penalty? Not that I really care!

Anyone else still angry? on 10:42 - Nov 3 with 3158 viewslordsambuca

Yep.

There is no excuse for it given VAR is in place. Both the refs and VAR are untouchable, hence checking their fpl scores....I think it is also cumulative coming off the back of other incidents/decisions.

This was the worst so date when also allied to the inconsistent issuing of yellow cards throughout the games and in the context of Leicester's dubious financial activities and the lack of sanctions.

Anyone else still angry? on 10:48 - Nov 3 with 3099 viewsoldbeardy

Watched it back like everyone else and really can't fathom how VAR hasn't kicked in to ask ref to review. I assume Ashton will ask for a full explanation as to how that can be judged a fair challenge if he's allowed to do so

I'm so vexed still that I have to remind myself that we drew yesterday as I feel like we lost. I hate teams like Leicester. Allowed to break the rules without punishment then to have a knock like vardy up front. They deserve the fans and manager that they have. To think I once wanted them to win the Prem' over the usual four teams.
Yes I'm still annoyed
