I know I should grow up and that, but when you can't shake the feeling you've been cheated it's hard to let go innit?

it depends on the exact model used but I think its usually considered about 0.8xg

So this magical xg also depends on which model subjectively judges a single kick of the ball..... I think I now have my justification to ignore it completely!

I'm very angry about it, purely because there's no vome back for these biased officals, and we all know it's going to happen many more times ahead this season, no doubt again v Spurs. No marginal decisions going in our favour. If our players make a foil, they'll be booked, bug not when the opposition player folks. Contentious issues won't onto VAR for us, butvwhenbthey fo gor thd opposition ig will red in a penalty.

Any sweepstake going on which Town player gets sent off next week, via 2 yellow cards? My moneys on Morsy. There's definitely ond rule fir us snd ond fir the " established" team. We are disregarded and dismissed by match
officials, and it'll continue to happen gor the rest if the season.

You can count on one hand, the number of games we have been " outplayed". Wrvr had, I'd say, 2 games where we were poor and the crest we havd more than matched our opponents, yet we hsve not won.

Logic would say, keep doing that we're doing and itll come good. But until we get fair
(equal) treatment/ respect by match officials in games, I can't see it happening I'm sorry to say.

Yep, Morsy to get a straight red card next week in the 58th minute for treading on a blade of grass.

I’m still angry from last weekend let alone yesterday’s nonsense.

Elaborating on my earlier brief post.

I'm very much of the 'football won't ever ruin my weekend' school of thought. It's only a game etc, a bit of a distraction at the weekend. But yesterday has fooking spoiled my weekend, no escaping it, and I'm a a really sh1tty mood today.

Yesterday and Brentford annoyed me far more than the Everton and West Ham games - easier to just brush those two off as we were poor and deserved nothing.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Ruddy fuming mate....

When I see some of the soft fouls that are being given during the game on TV it makes my blood boil that Chappers was assaulted in the penalty area and all we got was a red card, unbelievable.....

Best way to deal with it.

Despite it stopping 3 points.

We still got 1
We stopped leicester going 8 clear
We got a good performance from Johnson. Muric
We didn't gift a goal from defence
Hutchinson was played on the right :)
Delap is learning from Hirst
Szmodics Is a mix of sarmiento and chappers
Chappers is playing like chappers can
We are closer to having tuanzabe and greaves back
Phillips can have a rest
Cajuste Is ready to come in
Burgess is getting upto speed with prem football
We are only 2 points from safety
We do have 28 games to do
We have KM

The first 15 games for us is our pre season.
We are only 2 months away from Jan window which has done us well the last 2 years
We aren't norwich
Leeds are falling apart again
In two weeks we host man utd. We were hosting forest Green

There's always a fridge available for a beer
There's always a cupboard available for food
There's sport on the Tele

If the worst happens. We've got possibly the strongest side every to grace the championship.

Fvckin fuming still. Are we just seen as a soft touch by refs? Easy to make those kind of decisions against? Honestly, the refs have not been good this season, but yesterday was appalling, a con, how can that even happen? With VAR!!!! Literally robbed of a win. Literally. Nothing other than the ref prevented us winning. Brentford was dodgy with regards to decisions, yesterday was inexplicable. Yesterday robbed me of my last bit of joy of being in this fvckin league. Disgraceful. And I’m 56 and should have learned enough in life not to be so upset. Fekkers.

Another soft AF penalty given just now for Man Utd. Obviously if it was us it would be a yellow card for a dive.

I will probably continue to be angry about this until we win a game, and likely still long after. It was an absolute disgrace and the PGMOL should be ashamed.

I'm around a couple of decades older than you & should therefore have learned even more to not allow my p to be boiled about it -yet it's still at about 100C even now!

The other thing was how completely exhausting that whole 99 minutes was as a fan just listening to it. Felt as if I'd run every yard of any outfield player, was totally shattered afterwards - possibly not good for health!

Just consistency for me.

How can one week a handball be a penalty, and the next week it’s not?

How can someone one week get yellow carded/sent off for kicking the ball away, and the next week it’s not?

Then they wonder why nobody wants VAR. Something I’ve questioned a few times, but given our officials get poached to Saudi Arabia every few months to officiate games, why can’t we take officials from say, France or Germany? You never seem to hear of any ridiculous decisions in games over there.

In fairness the keeper caught the players foot which enabled a theatrical dive.

With every VAR decision going against us so far, don’t think it can make it any worse?

Sure there are other clubs who've suffered the same sort of sh1t but it really is starting to stink isn't it.

It's remarkable how inconsistent the the reffing is to boot. In practice it's no better than the L1 twttery.
