I think it looked more about lack of player quality than management, the players were playing for him and each other, he had not lost the dressing room, they would have been better off spending the O'Neil payoff on a better quality player, but that is not modern football. |  | | |

Think the only question was would they sack him on a Sunday or wait until tomorrow. They may lack the quality but they not in the right headspace to fight effectively, hence the fallout after the final whistle yesterday. Whoever comes in will need to sort that out and, with no offence to their fans, for our sake I hope they fail to do so. | |

Based on his post match interview, GON got exactly what he was hoping for. He threw all but 3 of his squad under the bus in that interview and there's no way back after losing the dressing room. If anything, the club showed loyalty to the players in taking this action.

From the tone of his last couple of post match interviews I think he wanted out, and it pays to be pushed rather than falling. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go the full Curbishly and get linked to a fair fee jobs but show no interest in applying for any. |  |
