I think his lack of recent success has made me baulk slightly away from him. After a good spell he's suddenly looking very lightweight. But if he is to play, I'd say drop Taylor to the bench and play him alongside Szmodics as a ten. | |

No Saka for them is a massive benefit for us, but probably Gabriel Jesus is going to have a field day. At least, i hope, this will be the start of the Phillips/Cajuste pivot. We need Phillips if we're going to stay up, and this pivot would work and we'd have the passing ability of KP, as much as it pains me to not have Morsy in the team long term.

To be honest I think I agree, he's disappointed overall, but he's got more attacking threat and forward momentum than Szmodics. The latter is great if he gets a chance but we need to create chances in the first place, and that's what Clarke was bought for. We have to put some faith in the players we've recruited.
