Definitely. Only trigger I can think of is Farage being critical of Tommy Ten Names. In which case, 'having what it takes' would seem to be being willing allow convicted violent racist thugs to be party members. Incredibly dangerous if SYL is the sort of racist that Musk is now courting. [Post edited 5 Jan 2025 14:32]

A setup like Reform's very much plays into his hands. Governed by a board rather than any member-based system. He can dangle the carrot of major investment, and then suddenly (it would appear) make it dependant upon the board bending to his will. The message seems to be that there'll be no investment unless the board sacks Farage.

Good point. Companies House shows Farage and Tice as the shareholders. Farage has the majority, and the sole right to add/remove directors. I can't see, with the power that Farage has, how Musk expects this gambit to work.

My only thought is whether there's a different structure in place for parliamentary-type decisions? Is there some sort of 'star chamber'/Politburo that could reach a majority decision to remove the whip from Farage if he doesn't surrender the leadership?

Dangerous to the world and wants to buy up all the governments to push his agenda. Almost such a shame as he could do such great things for the world with his ridiculous wealth and yet he chooses to type away on his app all day.

Have they audited the members yet? Given the only requirement was to pay ,the accusations towards faking members and many of them being from abroad should have been easy to disprove. Did it happen?

Also, whatever your thoughts on him (he's a tosser), Farage alone is the reason that party has got the traction they have. Lose Farage and the party dissolves into irrelevance.

Why do you have to descend to insults? I live in NI where reform have no presence so I won’t vote for them anyway. It really does speak volumes though when the left is so dismissive of people who are squarely middle or to the right of centre that they are far right racists etc🙄 There is still no answer to ALL the polls on Labour though is there?

If Farage plays this right then he can make a positive out of the situation. Standing up to Musk over Tommy Robinson could give him a tad of respectability to some floating voters.
