24hrs is a long time in politics... 14:25 - Jan 5 with 4472 viewsZx1988

Only yesterday, Farage was hailing Musk as a free speech champion.

What a shame.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Why do you have to descend to insults? I live in NI where reform have no presence so I won’t vote for them anyway.
It really does speak volumes though when the left is so dismissive of people who are squarely middle or to the right of centre that they are far right racists etc🙄
There is still no answer to ALL the polls on Labour though is there?

Have you ever thought about WHY people are dismissive of people who mindlessly support a party like reform, and who ignore facts in favour of bigotry?

Bragging about how clueless you are and then complaining about being called ignorant is bizarre. Being unable to do more than “ruffle feathers” makes the holier than thou nonsense also odd. You’re cheerleading Nazis, probably best not to if you’re gonna get all teary.

I’d rather descend to insults than racism.

Musk should be banned from entering The UK. There is a legal mechanism that allows it and he more than fits the criteria.

Appealing to large groups of people with policies that would never achieve what they are promising. You seem to be confirming the accusation rather than questioning it.

What's interesting to me isn't Musk's reaction - more Farage's calculation that it was better to piss Musk off. A win for the British establishment perhaps?

My train today to the game was diverted to Victoria and passed Farage's alma mater, Dulwich College, a school which befits a man of the people.

The problem is SYL. Farage knows that SYL's fans will likely vote for reform regardless, but he can never come out right and endorse SYL because he'll scare away people who might consider voting Reform and only end up shoring up a vote that will not desert him. Meanwhile Musk has gone fully behind SYL which is why Musk doesn't support Farage.

I wouldnt put it past them to cook it up between themselves. Musk tacitly supports Robinson and supports Reform, whilst Farage tactically gives himself plausible deniability of supporting Robinson by appearing to be at odds with Musk on it. Both the rabid Robinson supporters and the slightly more cautious reform voters who might be bothered by the Robinson connection end up supporting reform...

How embarrassing for Nige.

That being said, Musk is genuinely unstable isn’t he? Dangerous to the world and wants to buy up all the governments to push his agenda.

Almost such a shame as he could do such great things for the world with his ridiculous wealth and yet he chooses to type away on his app all day.

I think this is a good day for Nige not a bad one - Musk was growing in toxicity and this helps put some distance between them.

It's the middle ground who he needs to appeal to more than he is currently, and being seen to stand up to Musk's attempt to get SYL more involved can only be seen as a positive by that group.

He did the right thing in refusing to budge on this one - even with the money Musk has. He deserves a shred of credit for that.

Will depend on if it’s ego or not I suspect. I wonder if Musk sees SYL as a sort of Steve Bannon/Alex Jones figure for his UK involvement.

Wow. So misguided. Reform to the right of centre is the understatement of all time.
Shame you don't get to vote for your racist heroes in NI

Which Polls are you referring to? Could you post a link to just some of them so we potentially discuss whatever you’d like to against a consistent level of facts?

Thanks
