An Ipswich fans forum, having a pro Ipswich bias - well I never!
The contentious incidents that you speak of could have gone either way, there is no doubt about that, so yes, if we were on the other side of those decisions we would be upset with them, just like the supporters of every other club would be in the same circumstances.
But, none of those incidents were clearcut based on current interpretation of the rules, so debate & the defence of our biased position on them is justified.
The.potential Davis sending off happens well outside the box, with Wilson's touch being a bit heavy, O'Shea (who is a pacy defender) coming across to cover & Walton already well off his line, so there is a question mark as to it being a clear goal scoring opportunity. Having said that, we were happy to see Bree sent off v Southampton last season, which they vehemently argued against, as you would expect them to do.
Both penalties were very soft, and in my mind should not have been classed as penalties, due to the fact that this recent enough interpretation whereby any 'contact' in the box allows the attacker go down & a penalty awarded, is a load of b#$$#×; but I'm not writing the laws of the game & this interpretation is applied pretty much across the board, so of course Delap is going to 'buy' the foul & hit the deck when he feels the contact. I don't like it, but unless the rule/interpretation is changed, those challenges are going to result in penalties, for us & against us; we'll take them when we get them, & we'll point out how ludicrous the rule is when they go against us, just like supporters of all other clubs will do. | | | |

Interesting as the general consensus from almost everything I’ve read and seen is that Davis incident was just about correct as a yellow due to Osheas pace as the covering defender and everyone was sure Delaps was a penalty including sky and the bbc , the ref, Var etc for me the penalty is clear.
The Chelsea penalty I actually felt was a little soft in truth however with some of the ridiculous ones we have been denied this season nobody can begrudge us getting a 50-50 penalty | | | |

I initially thought this but they have new comments from when Chopra was here.
Being wound up by Ipswich fans being biased about Ipswich on some marginal decisions sure is odd though.
I think as a comment above says, most of the decisions were right although I think the Delap Chelsea penalty was very soft. |  |
