….removed from the court during his sentencing hearing because he claimed to “feel ill”.

Get the scumbag murderer back in there to listen to the effects his disgusting crimes have had on people.

Sickening.

Not as ill as he'll feel after his fellow inmates have battered him......hopefully.

Must be incredibly hard for judge, court officials, security, barristers and police to follow due process in such circumstances rather than act instinctively, but I trust they will.

I saw a photo of him yesterday. He certainly looks deranged. Awful crime. I hope he gets a whole life sentence.

….reading witness statement earlier and had to stop and handover to someone else, it was so disturbing.

Horrific.

I had to stop reading the bbc live updates because it made me feel sick. Deserves to suffer in every single way, but we all know he won’t.

Vile cretin.

You don’t think he’ll suffer in jail? I suspect he’ll have a miserable time and probably won’t survive to see out his sentence.

Ah right, so he was under 18 at the time. Probably not then, though i hope they find some way to keep him inside forever.

Too right. Hang the bit of dirt up by the wrists from the ceiling if necessary. That’d focus the attention.

Feels unwell? Nothing compared to what the relations of the victims must be feeling.

He can't as he was 10 days short of his 18th birthday at the time.

Maximum possible will be 13 life sentences. I think he would still need parole after the minimum term expires - would hope he never gets it but I'll probably be dead by then.

He most certainly won’t suffer anywhere near as much as the families of the innocent kids he killed.

No matter what sentence he receives, it wont feel like justice to the families. Just a shame the authorities didn't lock him up before he was able to do it. He was well known to police, Prevent, etc apparently. The law should allow for anyone who shows potential to go out and seriously harm people to be locked up for the public's safety.

Isn't a life sentence 99 years and 1 day, but that the judge gives an advisory time to serve provided the guilty party shows remorse?

I'm really not sure what justice would look like in this case. If it were one of my kids I don't think I would be able to or want to live on. It's unimaginable.

I empathise with your opinion, but I would think that would be a law that would be open to serious abuse and impossible to define.

Besides, we don't have room for the current prison population, never mind adding potentially thousands more.
