Not looking good for FM25 17:33 - Feb 4 with 9626 views | davblue | Supposed update from them on the new game by the end of January that’s due for release in March and complete radio silence from them when they are usually very active on social media. A Few rumours that the release date is being pushed back to May or the game shelved until FM26. Would be typical that Ipswich are in the prem for the 1st time in 20 years and there will be no FM edition.

Not looking good for FM25 on 09:53 - Feb 6 by BondiBlue | Does anyone remember the version where the only team you couldn't manage was ipswich? CM4 maybe? |
CM2 I think. You could apply and take over in game but for some reason Ipswich were missing from the list of teams to manage at the start due to a bug

CM2... Christ, those were the days! I badgered my mum to get it at Toys R Us, but we had a crappy 33Mhz PC and it took about an hour to even set up a save. Bliss.

Champ Man 2, those were the days indeed! Not sure it was the "crappy 33Mhz PC" that was the reason for taking so long to generate a save. Me and my then flatmate went halfs on a PC in 96, I can't remember the specs of it but it cost us £1500 so was a powerhorse (you can probably buy calculators that are more powerful nowadays though!). I seem to recall that still took a similar amount of time to create saves. I spent so much of late teenage life playing Champ Man!

My point was that when something as disastrous as this happens, senior management comes under serious pressure. Miles has been the top dog as long as I can remember. Let's not forget the fact he is a PR nightmare (underage girls mmmmmmm - Google it) and he is also a massive end of bell. I'm not calling for it but it would not be a shame if he lost his job.

I did indeed just google it, unless I’m mistaken what you’re referencing is his comments on a then 18 year old Joao Pedro’s relationship with a 15 year old girl in Brazil- age of consent in Brazil is 14 but it is still considered socially unacceptable for 18+ to be with girls this age. Miles made clumsy daft comments about it being acceptable if laws aren’t broken, etc. I thought it was worth clarifying this *in* the thread as frankly your post reads as if Miles Jacobson was some kind of predator, himself. Perhaps the Lead Game Designer carried the can as they have a job posting for a new one: https://www.sports-interactive.com/vacancy/lead-game-designer
