I often find myself at away matches behind the lads whose sole purpose seems to be to make obscene gestures to the home fans. I swear they don't even watch the match. There's a few at Portman Road too. Whenever we score the chap a couple of rows in front of me never cheers, he just makes gestures at the away supporters.

To me it epitomized the type of casual supporter we had in that away end on Saturday. They don't understand the ethos behind what has bought us success, which is a joined up, we will back you whatever type of mentality. If you understood that, you would not be singing such garbage. Then again, people are like sheep and if you have people starting up such songs, you will always get a bunch of people that will join in, without really considering what they are singing, or the implications of it. Southampton sung it last week, they are already essentially relegated, but even so, they should understand the huge undertaking it now is to bridge the gap between Championship and Premier League.
P.S For 5,000 people, our away support was embarrassing.
