I really like Honey and Harvey in the town centre - a bit fancier than a greasy spoon fry up but really good quality ingredients.

If i'm early enough for a breakfast, I tend to go to Honey + Harvey, more of a place for taking the missus than your dad though, £40 for two breakfasts and a coffee though from memory.

Go there with my daughter and taking the wife tomorrow.

Otherwise, not much wrong with a 'spoons breakfast at the Cricketers.

Tend to use that mostly, especially when at swim meets etc, does a job.

Jack's cafe, at the traffic lights nx to sainsbury Hadleigh Rd. 5min walk to ground. Haven't been that way into town for over a year..hope its still there. Proper fry up, 👌. Old haunt of the Town players back in Sir Bobby's time.

If you are driving in plenty of option with major pub chain restaurants. Brewers Fayre, Beefeater, Toby Carvery, Vintage Inns , Marstons or any of the Greene King brands, Hungry Horse, Flaming grill etc.

If you heading for waterfront Isaac’s or, if you want to pay a little more for top quality, Last Anchor.

Really depends on what you call early and what you intend to do between then and the match.

Had a breakfast at Jacey's the other week, near the Buttermarket. It was superb!

Honey and Harvey is great and if you have a ST you get 20% off I think. Or opposite that is Central Canteen which is greasy spoon but great.

Bon Bon is good too (where Pat Val used to be).

Enjoy the day!

If you fancy an early lunch getting a table at @25 (used to be KBar) is one you won’t regret. Top quality food and fantastic attentive table service.

The Grazing Sheep along the waterfront is really nice. Probably more of a brunch place than brekkie, but it's still worth a visit.

plenty of advice I see

may I suggest Charlottes on Queen Street opposite the Falcon Pub, charming people, Town fans and near St Nicholas street with all its pubs.
Loads of Town fans milling around, good atmosphere.

The Mermaid has had a refurb, so might be worth a look - I've not been in to vouch for what it's like, but not too far from the ground.

You won't go wrong with those mentioned but Cafe Marina on the Waterfront never fails with their fry ups. Plus you can walk off some of it on the Waterfront afterwards.
