Fair assessment. Nope did not look like scoring. I question the tactics more than individuals though. As mentioned on many other threads, feel we needed to adapt to the situation - opposition down to 10 men and the obvious sub for me was Hirst for Davis, moving to a back 3. Playing piddly passes across the pitch rather than shooting or lumping the ball in the box to an error prone Onana and Maguire. Also would have liked to se Greaves flung up there at the end rather than tripping over his own feet playing sideways passes across the pitch. | | | |

Or you can say £150M is proving to really not be enough. Forest spent way more, risked it all and just got away with it.
What I don't really get with all of the fans that keep saying we should have spent better, but honestly who was it you were thinking that we were getting in multiple positions to improve us all over the pitch? With fees we could afford, with wages we can afford and wouldn't divide the dressing room and wanted to join a club who were one of the favourites for relegation, who are these gems we missed out on?
Fans seem to think player recruitment is oh so easy. Look at the money wasted by many PL clubs in recent years, Utd, Chelsea etc, way more than us and lots of players don't really work out.
I am not saying all our business has been great as it hasn't but I think there has been some ridiculous expectations and we are all watching the reality. The KMc lure has been there for many of the players who did sign and that made them choose us, our signings could have been worse. | | | |
